Pakistani athlete Masood Khan has set a remarkable world record by completing an 800-kilometre non-stop run from Peshawar to Skardu, marking one of the most demanding endurance achievements in recent sporting history. He completed the extraordinary challenge without stopping, demonstrating exceptional physical strength and mental resilience throughout the journey. During the ultra-endurance run, Masood Khan travelled through some of Pakistan’s most difficult and scenic terrain, including the rugged Karakoram Highway and valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan. Meanwhile, he also passed alongside the Indus River, where challenging weather and steep mountain paths tested his endurance at every stage. As a result, the route became one of the toughest long-distance running challenges ever attempted in the region.

According to details, the athlete completed the 810-kilometre journey in approximately nine days, pushing through exhaustion and extreme physical strain. In addition, he reported facing continuous fatigue and instability but remained committed to finishing the challenge for his country. Therefore, his determination played a key role in completing the record-breaking run successfully.

Masood Khan said after finishing the run that the achievement was a matter of pride for both himself and the nation. He emphasized that representing Pakistan on the global stage motivated him to continue despite extreme hardships along the route. Furthermore, he stated that the support and spirit of the people encouraged him to complete the historic endurance challenge.

The athlete has previously represented Pakistan in international competitions against athletes from countries including Russia, Japan and China, where he earned multiple medals. Consequently, his latest achievement adds another milestone to his growing career in endurance sports and long-distance running events. Experts believe such performances highlight the potential of Pakistani athletes in global sporting arenas.

Sports observers and fans have widely praised the achievement, calling it an inspiring moment for young athletes across the country. Meanwhile, the record is being seen as an important step in promoting endurance sports and improving Pakistan’s international sporting image. As a result, Masood Khan’s accomplishment is expected to encourage more participation in extreme athletic challenges.
