A Karachi court witnessed a tense hearing when Anmol, also known as “Pinky,” accused in a high-profile drug trafficking case, created a commotion during her appearance and alleged that she was being falsely implicated and subjected to torture.

The accused was produced before a judicial magistrate in South Karachi under strict security arrangements, with her face covered upon arrival at the city court. During the proceedings, she raised objections in court, claiming she had been detained for 22 days and brought from Lahore in custody.

She alleged that multiple false cases had been registered against her and that she had been pressured during interrogation. The court assured her that she would not be harassed inside the courtroom and that her legal counsel would be given full opportunity to present her defence.
During the hearing, the accused further claimed that she was being implicated in 20 to 25 separate cases and said she had been threatened with harm to her family if she did not cooperate.

On the other hand, the investigation officer informed the court that seven individuals had been arrested in connection with the case and that recoveries were being made based on the accused’s alleged disclosures. He also claimed that she had been evasive during interrogation.
The officer further stated that the accused was part of a larger network involved in widespread drug distribution, alleging that supplies had reached hundreds of individuals and that foreign nationals were also linked to the group. He added that multiple cases were registered against her and described her as highly skilled in evading law enforcement.
The court questioned the investigation officer regarding the progress of the case and expressed displeasure over inconsistencies in the investigation record. The judge also sought clarification on missing documentation, prompting further explanations from the officer.

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its decision on the prosecution’s request for physical remand.
