The murder trial of TikToker Sana Yousaf moved closer to completion after the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad finished cross-examination of all 28 prosecution witnesses. The accused is expected to record his statement during the next hearing scheduled for May 18. Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka heard the case at the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad. Government prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain and defense counsel Sardar Qadeer Advocate appeared before the court during the hearing. During the proceedings, the court was informed that cross-examination of all prosecution witnesses had been completed. A total of 28 witnesses presented by the prosecution were questioned during the trial. The case has now moved into its concluding phase. According to court proceedings, the accused will record his statement under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code at the next hearing. Under this section, the accused is given an opportunity to respond to the allegations and evidence presented by the prosecution.
