Pakistan and China signed three MoUs on Monday to expand cooperation in desalination, agriculture, and tea sectors. The agreements aim to address water shortages, improve farming technology, and boost trade collaboration. The deals will impact industries, farmers, and urban populations, especially in Karachi and Sindh.
President Asif Ali Zardari witnessed the signings during his official visit to China, highlighting growing bilateral ties. The first agreement focuses on a seawater desalination project in Karachi to enhance water supply. Sindh officials partnered with a Chinese environmental technology firm to advance the initiative.
