Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf witnessed the missile firing exercise, while a team of scientists and engineers involved in the development process was also present at the site. Officials said the successful trial marks another milestone in Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen its maritime defence infrastructure through local innovation.

ISPR stated that the missile is equipped with advanced guidance systems and modern technology, enabling it to effectively track and engage targets even in changing operational environments. It added that the system enhances the Navy’s ability to respond to maritime threats with greater accuracy and efficiency.

The military described the successful test as clear evidence of Pakistan’s technical expertise and the growing collaboration between its defence scientists and engineering teams. It further noted that such developments contribute significantly to maintaining operational readiness and strengthening deterrence at sea.

Following the successful trial, congratulations were extended by the President, Prime Minister, and senior military leadership, who appreciated the efforts of the scientists and engineers involved in the project.

The ISPR reiterated that the Pakistan Navy remains committed to enhancing its defensive capabilities to ensure the security of the country’s maritime borders. It said that efforts are ongoing to further modernise naval systems and maintain a credible defence posture in the region.
