Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to the Pakistan Army, Punjab Rangers, and the Federal Constabulary for their outstanding arrangements during the Islamabad talks.
He commended the excellent arrangements made during the Islamabad negotiations and appreciated the exceptional performance of the Punjab Police, Islamabad Police, Islamabad Administration, CDA, and Motorway Police. He stated that the entire team worked in complete unity and carried out their duties in a highly exemplary manner, which is commendable.?
He further said that he congratulates every officer and personnel for ensuring foolproof security arrangements for the distinguished guests. By the grace of Almighty Allah and effective coordination among government institutions, the best possible arrangements were ensured. The heads of all relevant institutions worked day and night and successfully accomplished a challenging task in an excellent manner. Mohsin Naqvi added that the success of the entire team is a moment of pride for all.
ITP restores services at Traffic Headquarters
Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) announced that Traffic Headquarters Shakarparian and all facilitation centres would remain open from Monday as per routine.
An ITP official told APP on Sunday that all licensing and public service facilities, which had remained suspended due to security arrangements, would now resume normal operations.
He said citizens could visit Traffic Headquarters Shakarparian and designated facilitation centres to avail services including driving licence issuance, renewal, learner permits and other related facilities. The official said the decision had been taken to ensure maximum facilitation for the public after restoration of routine activities in the federal capital.
