Abu Dhabi — A Pakistani national has been killed in the United Arab Emirates following a ballistic missile attack, officials confirmed on Monday. According to UAE authorities, the Emirati air defense system successfully intercepted the missile, but debris from the strike fell in the Bani Yas area of Abu Dhabi, resulting in the death of a Pakistani citizen.

This marks the latest casualty among foreign nationals amid the recent wave of attacks in the UAE. The total number of fatalities in the recent incidents has now reached seven, including three Pakistanis. One Pakistani was killed in Dubai during a separate defensive operation, while two others lost their lives in Abu Dhabi.

UAE officials emphasized that the air defense systems are actively working to neutralize incoming threats, but residual debris from intercepted missiles continues to pose risks to civilians in affected areas. Authorities are urging residents to stay vigilant, follow safety guidelines, and avoid entering areas where debris from intercepted missiles has landed.

The UAE government has also assured the public that investigations are underway to identify the sources of the attacks and prevent further casualties. Security agencies continue to monitor the situation closely, coordinating with emergency responders to provide immediate assistance to affected families.

Pakistani authorities have expressed condolences and confirmed that they are in touch with local authorities to provide support to the families of the victims. Officials have also advised Pakistani expatriates in the UAE to remain cautious and follow official guidance for safety.
