
The government of Punjab has announced a Rs5,000 Eid relief package to support low-income citizens ahead of Eid ul Fitr. The program aims to help families manage rising expenses during the festive season by providing direct financial assistance.
Under the Punjab Rs5,000 Eidi Program 2026, each eligible individual will receive Rs5,000, which will be transferred digitally through mobile wallets such as Easypaisa and JazzCash to ensure quick and transparent payments.

According to officials, applicants must be residents of Punjab and at least 12 years old. Individuals aged 18 or above must have a CNIC, while those aged 12–17 must provide a B-Form issued by National Database and Registration Authority. Applicants are also required to provide an active mobile number for registration.
The government is preparing to introduce an online registration portal where citizens will enter their CNIC or B-Form number, provide a mobile number, and select a payment option such as Easypaisa or JazzCash before submitting the form.

Officials say payments are expected to begin a few weeks before Eid, allowing families to cover expenses such as clothing, food and travel. Once an application is approved, beneficiaries will receive an SMS confirmation, and the amount will be transferred directly to their mobile wallet accounts.
