Sindh governor vows to make IT marquee functional after Eid

Sindh Governor Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on Sunday said that he is a constitutional Governor instead of the title of ‘Awami Governor’.

He said the the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced opportunities of training, education and employment for the youth, which will also begin at the Governor House.

While addressing a press conference on the site of IT marquee, which was giving a disorganized look established by the former Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, he said that this IT Marquee will be brought back into use after Eidul Fitr with proper certification and a transparent enquiry will be conducted over its condition.

The Governor Nehal Hashmi said that a comprehensive education program will be chalked out with the support of PM’s Youth Program.

He also remarked that Sehri and Iftari will continue from tomorrow (March 16) at the Governor House.The Governor said that he will perform his constitutional responsibilities with honesty and justice.

Audit of every expenditure will be conducted including the money is received and spent in the Governor House, he pointed out.

Hashmi said that PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif teaches constructive things and laid down plans of motorway, tractor schemes and much more.

He said that Nawaz Sharif always is seen forefront whether that is law and order situation in Karachi or something else.

The Sindh Governor said that PM is a smart-man because of his work and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CODS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir belonged to the home like ours.

He urged the Media to avoid negative news about the Sindh province especially Karachi.Hashmi pledged to make an improved and better Governor House before leaving it.

He also prayed for the good health of the President Asif Ali Zardari.Replying to a question, he said that there was no space for hatred between Sindhi and Muhajir brothers and sisters.To another question, he said that they will pay attention towards resolution to loadshedding of electricity, gas and shortage of water in the city.

Sindh Governor Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has said that the youth are the future of the country and it is essential to provide them with modern opportunities in education, skills and development so that they can utilize their abilities and play an effective role in the progress of the nation.

He expressed these views while meeting the Sindh core team of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme at the Governor House, led by Coordinator Dr. Fahad Shafiq.

During the meeting, matters related to youth welfare, education, skill development and the provision of better opportunities for their growth were discussed.

The Governor Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, while advancing the vision of Quaid Muhammad Mian Nawaz Sharif, has expanded the scope of several initiatives for youth, including the laptop scheme, and extended program across the country.

He further said that through integrity, dedication and sincere efforts, it is important to assure the public that the present government is taking serious and practical steps for the bright future of youth and the welfare of the people.

During the meeting, Coordinator Prime Minister’s Youth Program Sindh Dr. Fahad Shafiq briefed the Governor Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi that the program is focusing on four major sectors (4Es), including education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, youth engagement in social and national activities, and environmental protection.

He added that through the Digital Youth Hub, young people are being provided access to scholarships, job opportunities, guidance for starting businesses, leadership programs and community activities so that they can effectively utilize their potential and contribute positively to society.
