KARACHI: Dollar remained flat in value versus domestic unit in interbank while edged higher in open market transaction. After appreciating by 02 paisas during intraday trading, dollar closed at Rs 105.40 for buying and Rs 105.60 for selling versus rupee in interbank. Pound Sterling stood firm in value by 62 paisas and closed at Rs 140.32 for buying and Rs 140.52 for selling. Euro closed steady at Rs 124 for buying and Rs 124.20 for selling in interbank trading. It gained 27 paisas. In kerb market, dollar remained up by 05 paisas versus rupee to close at Rs 107.50 for buying and Rs 107.70 for selling. Pound closed firm at Rs 142.25 for buying and Rs 142.45 for selling, after gaining 25 paisas. Euro remained firm to close at Rs 126.25 for buying and Rs 126.25 for selling.
