Veteran Pakistani actress Nisho Begum and her actress daughter Sahiba Afzal have reconciled after months of reported estrangement, sharing an emotional reunion during a live YouTube broadcast that quickly captured public attention.

The heartfelt moment unfolded unexpectedly while Nisho Begum was hosting a cooking segment on her digital media channel. Midway through the live show, Sahiba walked into the kitchen and surprised her mother, leaving Nisho Begum visibly emotional. The two embraced warmly, as Sahiba asked her mother whether she had missed her. Nisho Begum responded that she deeply missed her children, especially after they moved to Karachi.

Addressing viewers during the broadcast, Nisho Begum said seeing her daughter made her feel alive and youthful again. She also spoke candidly about the criticism she often faces for remaining active on social media, creating TikTok content and maintaining a well-groomed appearance at her age. She said her motivation and energy come entirely from her children, adding that staying engaged helps her feel connected and fulfilled.

Sahiba, meanwhile, offered words of support for her mother, saying public criticism is inevitable regardless of one’s choices. She encouraged people to live life on their own terms instead of seeking approval from others, a sentiment that resonated strongly with viewers.

Fans of the veteran actress flooded the comments section with prayers, love and well wishes, celebrating the reconciliation and expressing relief at seeing the mother-daughter duo together again. Many described the reunion as deeply moving and praised both women for addressing their differences openly.

The tension between Nisho Begum and Sahiba reportedly began in 2024, when Sahiba met her biological father for the first time. Following that meeting, reports emerged of strain in their relationship. In a previous interview, Nisho Begum had revealed that she had not met her daughter for nearly eight months.

The live reunion appears to mark a new chapter for the family, one that fans hope will be filled with healing and renewed closeness.
