
Severe fog has disrupted life across Punjab, upper Sindh, and the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Visibility is extremely low, causing major travel disruptions. Authorities have closed several motorways to prevent accidents.
Motorways affected include M-1 from Swabi to Peshawar, M-2 from Thokar Niaz Beg to Bulksar, and M-3 from Faizpur to Samundari. M-4 from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, M-5 from Shershah to Sukkur, and M-11 from Lahore to Sambaryal are also closed.

The closures have significantly impacted commuters and commercial transport, delaying travel across these regions. Authorities urged motorists to avoid non-essential travel and drive with extreme caution where travel remains possible.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported low temperatures across the country in the past 24 hours. Skardu recorded the lowest temperature at -12°C, while Karachi saw a minimum of 9°C.
