
Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Sindh’s health sector has seen major improvements after the 18th Amendment. He addressed graduates at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University in Larkana, congratulating them for completing their degrees. Bilawal urged doctors and nurses to serve the nation and humanity with dedication and professionalism.
He highlighted substantial investments in healthcare facilities across Sindh, including Karachi, Nawabshah, Jamshoro, Sukkur, and Larkana. Bilawal mentioned that free cardiac treatments are now available to citizens. Emergency rooms for children were established in all districts under a public-private partnership with the ChildLife Foundation. He emphasized that Sindh aims to compete with the world in healthcare standards.

Bilawal also praised the role of medical staff during epidemics, calling them frontline warriors. He stressed that education is essential for progress and urged graduates to work without discrimination. The PPP chief highlighted the ongoing goal to provide healthcare in underserved districts. He said reforms in Sindh’s health system will continue to expand access for all citizens.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah added that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto made significant efforts to empower women and improve education. He said her vision led to the university’s creation in 2009. Shah emphasized that sustainable progress depends on education, research, and youth development. The government is working to establish universities in all districts to make education accessible in underdeveloped areas.

Bilawal concluded by stressing that Larkana represents resistance against injustice and that graduates must dedicate themselves to public service. He reiterated that healthcare and education reforms are key to Sindh’s growth. Both leaders urged youth and professionals to contribute actively to the province’s development.
