
A high-level Turkiye delegation, led by Ahmet Khan, met with Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan to discuss expanding cooperation in defence, aviation, and technology sectors.
The delegation, which included senior executives from Turkiye’s aerospace, drone technology, and defence industries, expressed interest in joint ventures, technology transfer, and setting up manufacturing operations in Pakistan.

Minister Khan welcomed the proposal, emphasizing Pakistan’s potential in aerospace, defence production, and minerals. He encouraged Turkish firms to use Pakistan as a strategic production hub for markets in ASEAN, Africa, and South Asia, while exploring trilateral cooperation opportunities.
Khan also briefed the delegation on Pakistan’s initiatives, including the Karachi Expo Centre expansion and greater coordination between ministries to support industrial growth. He highlighted the country’s engineering expertise and abundant resources as a strong base for future partnerships.

The meeting underscored both sides’ commitment to strengthening B2B ties and boosting bilateral trade. Both countries agreed to explore sector-specific engagements and long-term industrial partnerships.
