
LAHORE – The Lahore Sessions Court has approved a request by Imran Khan’s legal team for additional time to conduct cross-examination in the Rs10 billion defamation suit filed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the written order issued by Judge Yilmaz Ghani, witness Attaullah Tarar appeared on behalf of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and recorded his statement. The court allowed the defense’s plea for an extension, enabling a thorough cross-examination of the witness.

The court has scheduled Attaullah Tarar’s cross-examination for November 15, giving the defense the required time to prepare.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had filed the Rs10 billion defamation suit against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, citing allegations made against him by the former prime minister and party leader.
