Four Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in Balochistan IBO: ISPR

Published on: November 4, 2025 3:35 PM

KALAT – Security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said on Tuesday.

According to the ISPR, the operation was conducted on the night of November 1 based on confirmed intelligence reports about the presence of militants linked to Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan. The state has designated such Balochistan-based groups under this name to underscore India’s alleged involvement in acts of terrorism and destabilisation within Pakistan.

“During the operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in four Indian-sponsored terrorists being sent to hell,” the ISPR statement said. “Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.”

On 2 November 2025, three khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

The military added that sanitisation operations were underway to clear the area of any remaining militants. “Security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country,” it affirmed.

Following the operation, President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the armed forces for their successful mission, stating that the nation stands firmly with its forces in the fight against terrorism under Operation Azm-i-Istehkam.

Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the troops for their bravery and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism in all its forms. “The entire nation supports its armed forces with unwavering resolve to protect the homeland,” he said, as reported by APP.

The development came a day after the ISPR confirmed that three terrorists were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan has witnessed a recent surge in terrorist incidents, particularly in KP and Balochistan, largely targeting law enforcement and security personnel following the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan’s breach of a ceasefire agreement in 2022.
