Pak team reaches Kazakhstan for ATF int’l competition

The Pakistan 12&under tennis team has reached Kazakhstan, to participate in the ATF 12&under Intercontinental Team Competition 2025, scheduled to take place in Shymkent from September 27 September to October 5.

As many as 12 nations from across the globe are participating in the tournament, said a press release.

This event brings together top young talent from various regions, and Pakistan will be participating for the first time. The team was selected following their outstanding performance in the Finals of the ATF 12&under Team Competition, held in Singapore from August 25 to 30. In preparation for this global event, the team underwent an intensive training camp at the PTF Complex from September 14 to 25. Participating Nations include Australia, Africa (CAT), China, Chinese Taipei, South America (COSAT), Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Korea, New Zealand, Pacific Oceania, Pakistan and Thailand.

Pakistan Team Comprises Muhammad Shayan Afridi, Rashid Ali Bachani, Muhammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill, Muhammad Abid (Team Captain).

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President-PTF extended his best wishes to the national team, said, Our young team is strong and full of potential. This is a golden opportunity for these talented players to showcase their abilities on an international platform. We hope they perform well and make the nation proud.

Col. (R) Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary General-PTF, also wished the players the best of luck and said our players are in good shape, and we are confident they will bring laurels to Pakistan.
