At the United Nations Security Council, Pakistan’s Ambassador Usman Jadoon strongly challenged India’s statements. He said India misused the platform to spread false accusations against Pakistan. Jadoon rejected these claims and said the facts about Kashmir are clear. He reminded the Council that India illegally occupies Jammu and Kashmir. He also said India broke UN resolutions and denied Kashmiris their right to self-rule.
Furthermore, Jadoon accused India of supporting terrorism inside Pakistan. He mentioned international reports that document India’s harsh treatment of minorities. He criticized India for trying to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty. This treaty shares river water between the two countries. Jadoon called India’s move illegal and harmful to Pakistan’s people. He urged the world to recognize these violations.
Jadoon also said India acted aggressively against Pakistan in May. Between May 7 and 10, India crossed Pakistan’s borders with military planes. Pakistan responded responsibly by destroying six Indian warplanes and causing military losses. He emphasized Pakistan’s right to defend itself under international law. Jadoon’s clear message was that Pakistan acted only in self-defense.
He urged India to change its attitude. According to him, India must stop its arrogance and aggression. He asked India to face the reality of the Kashmir dispute. Jadoon called for India to respect UN resolutions and international laws. He said peace in the region depends on India’s willingness to change.
Pakistan’s ambassador exposed India’s actions at the global stage. His speech stressed the need for truth and justice in Kashmir. The debate highlighted ongoing tensions and the urgent need for dialogue. Pakistan wants the world to see India’s violations clearly. Ambassador Jadoon’s strong words aimed to hold India accountable and seek peace.
