Authorities have imposed a one-day curfew in Razmak Subdivision of North Waziristan on Wednesday, following a notification issued by the district administration late Tuesday evening. The curfew aims to maintain law and order in the region during sensitive operations.
According to the official notification, the curfew will remain in effect from 5 AM to 7 PM. During this time, all main roads will be closed to routine traffic and civilian movement will be strictly restricted.
Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the curfew. They urged residents to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel throughout the duration of the restrictions.
Furthermore, the district administration has requested citizens to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and only step out in case of emergencies. Security forces have been deployed across key points to ensure full implementation.
Meanwhile, shops, markets, and public transport services are expected to remain suspended for the day. This temporary lockdown is part of broader efforts to stabilize the region amid ongoing security challenges.
Authorities emphasized that the curfew is only for one day and meant for public safety. Further updates will be issued depending on the situation in the area.
