Storms and rain expected to break upper Sindh heatwave

The Meteorological Department predicts storms and rain across all districts of Upper Sindh. Strong winds and rain will help reduce the ongoing heatwave. People can expect cooler weather soon.

Meanwhile, rain is also forecast from today until June 16 in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. This will bring relief to many areas suffering from high temperatures. The weather change will lower temperatures significantly.

The country is currently facing intense heat. Just yesterday, Cholistan Desert and Sargodha recorded temperatures as high as 48 degrees Celsius. The heatwave has caused discomfort and health risks for many residents.

Experts warn that storms may cause sudden weather changes. They advise people to stay alert and take precautions to stay safe during the storms. This temporary weather shift is expected to bring some relief.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely. They will share updates and safety tips to help the public prepare for any sudden changes in weather. The Meteorological Department urges everyone to stay informed.
