In a major success against terrorism, Pakistan’s security forces eliminated 14 India-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Datta Khel, North Waziristan. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation took place between June 2 and 3, 2025, following confirmed intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The troops launched a swift and precise offensive, effectively targeting the hideout. After a fierce exchange of fire, all 14 terrorists were killed on the spot. Moreover, sanitization operations are now underway to clear the area of any remaining threats, as the armed forces remain fully committed to ending terrorism across Pakistan.
Earlier, seven more India-backed terrorists were neutralized in two separate operations in Balochistan. In the Mach area of Kachhi district, security forces killed five terrorists linked to “Fitna al Hindustan.” Additionally, in Margand, Kalat district, two more militants were taken down as their hideout was destroyed. A cache of weapons, explosives, and ammunition was recovered from both sites.
Highlighting the gravity of foreign involvement, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Indian proxies are the real threat to regional peace. He accused India of funding and training terrorist groups through Afghanistan, destabilizing peace in Balochistan and the broader region.
He further stated that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), also known as “Fitna al Hindustan,” enjoys full financial and logistical support from India. He emphasized that terrorists fear development, and once the youth gain education and employment, their influence will vanish. The DG urged young people to reject violence and choose progress, as Balochistan has the potential to become Pakistan’s richest and most prosperous province.
