The jet-setting model-turned-actress Priyanka Chopra is unstoppable. Film festivals, red carpet screenings, international collaborations, family vacations, and fashion weeks—she seems to be making the most of her life at all times. The Miss World-turned-Padma Shri awardee has had one of the most envy-worthy career graphs in Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra started off early in the Noughties with films like ‘Andaaz’, ‘Aitraaz’, ‘Bluffmaster’, ‘Don’, ‘Dostana’ and ‘Kaminey’. It was more challenging roles in films like ‘Barfi’ and ‘Mary Kom’ that changed the course of her acting career. Her career graph also includes lending her voice to hit singles “In my city” and “Exotic”. But her most recent successes include playing the part of Alex Parrish in the ABC series ‘Quantico’ and Victoria Leeds in ‘Baywatch’. Over her nearly two decade-long career, Chopra’s style has evolved, to say the very least. From draped satin dresses to trench coats with OTT trains, the actor has become more experimental in her sartorial ways. The star’s stylist Cristina Ehrlich revealed in a recent interview that, “Priyanka is incredibly porous and really loves collaboration and depending on the day, she likes to do different things—she loves urban street wear, is inspired by music and model off-duty looks.” Cristina Ehrlich also added that, “She is very versatile and will try anything from a pair of men’s pants to a pyjama look, to a classic bombshell moment.” Back in 2010, the star favoured cropped silhouettes and a relaxed travel style. Towards 2013, she ventured in the fitted shift dress territory, trying everything from leather detailing to all-over shimmer. Over the years, Chopra has been a fan of the six-yard drape when it comes to ethnic dressing and has been spotted in several saris. It was in 2015 that Chopra started experimenting with international labels like Self-Portrait, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Prabal Gurung, Sally LaPointe and Altuzarra. With every passing day, the driven star manages to create headlines with her choices, fashion or otherwise, and shows no signs of stopping, at least in the near future.
