On Monday, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) lodged another first information report (FIR) for suicide bombing outside the Karachi Airport which claimed the lives of three people, including two Chinese nationals. The report, presented at the Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court, outlines new revelations from the interrogation of arrested militant Javed, who has confessed to his involvement in the planning and execution of the bombing. According to the CTD, the bombing near the airport was carried out with the assistance of terrorist financing and detailed planning.
