KARACHI: The Businessmen Group (BMG) and Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) will celebrate 20 years of “Public Service” to the business and industrial community, in a ceremony on Friday at Baradari. According to a statement issued, the celebration would be attended by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah along with his entire cabinet whereas prominent dignitaries, top government functionaries, heads of law enforcing agencies, and members of diplomatic corps will also be present at the occasion. Businessmen Group Chairman & Former President KCCI Siraj Kassam Teli commented that since 1998, “the Businessmen Group has been constantly winning KCCI’s election and it was a matter of pride for us that the election held during the last 11 consecutive years were unanimously won by the BMGIANs (candidates of Businessmen Group); as not a single individual, out of 22,000 members, comes forward to compete against BMG candidates, which clearly indicates the group enjoys overwhelming support, trust and confidence of the entire business and industrial community of Karachi”. The 25th Karachi Chamber President Muffasar Atta Malik, who recently assumed charge of the chamber, said that arrangements for holding the mega event in a vivid manner had been completed and invitations to all members dispatched; so that maximum members, who have always supported the Businessmen Group, could become a part of the celebration being staged at the spacious venue of Baradari.
