Sir: The opening of the NATO supplies route would mean allowing the untrustworthy to enter our country again. History is replete with events where Uncle Sam has betrayed Pakistan in difficult times. Re-opening the route would bring more chaos and unrest in the troubled areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Any particular group should not be allowed to make our foreign policy hostage to its vested interests. We have already tarnished our image by getting into the war against terrorism.
