Sir: There is always a traffic jam on the road passing through I-8/1 sector in front of government houses. This is the only road that links four others from all directions. On both sides of the road are houses — government and privately owned. It is actually the inner road before the construction of Ninth Avenue. The pressure of traffic could lessen if another underpass or overhead bridge was constructed to link I-9 Industrial Sector with the North link road, which comes from I-8/ 2 and the Shifa International Hospital. With the construction of an overhead bridge on the Ninth Avenue at this point, people would have a direct link connection coming from Zero Point, Federal Board and I-8/2 on towards the Industrial Area, I-9 Sectors, I-10 sectors and Pir Wadahi. One notices the Ninth Avenue at this point has a missing link between three major sectors I-9, 10, and I-8 sectors. Any sort of link can be made possible on this road at this point to join the three major sectors, which would help balance the heavy flow of traffic. SABA GUL Islamabad
