Sir: Through your newspaper, I want to highlight an important problem faced by the students of Post-Graduate College, Dera Ghazi Khan. Students from Balochistan, Sindh, Layyah, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur districts are also facing the same issues. We at the college are not provided with clean drinking water, electric coolers, clean washrooms, and regular insecticide spray on campus. With the dengue virus on the loose in Pakistan, this is a cause of stress for people. The Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif says that education is his first priority, but the basic issues are still not resolved. We request the chief secretary of Punjab to personally look into the matter and define some line of action to provide basic amenities to every college and university of Punjab. YASEEN AYAZ SHAHANI Dera Ghazi Khan
