Sir: It has been noticed that banks and cell phone companies offer attractive schemes to customers who are either defaulters in the case of banks or are not using their Sims anymore in the case of telecom companies. Loyal customers who pay on time seem to bear the cost of the benefit schemes offered to defaulting/disloyal customers. For the first time in Pakistan, a company, the Karachi Electric Supply Company, has given a scheme where loyal customers who pay bills on time are rewarded with less load shedding. I suggest banks, cell phone companies and other utility companies should also consider rewarding their loyal customers to keep people happy. HAROON ZUBERI Karachi
