Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary. Did you know once Anushka acted arrogant around Virat because she thought he was the same. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli make one of the most popular couples in the entertainment industry. As popular as them is the story of how the two met for the first time. While many might think that sparkles flew instantly, it was Anushka who found Virat ‘arrogant’ initially. Anushka and Virat met for the first time in 2013 while filming for a shampoo commercial together. Soon they got wrapped up in dating rumours. They got married in a private ceremony at Italy’s Lake Como in December 2017. They turned parents in 2021 and were blessed with daughter, Vamika. Talking about how Anushka met Virat for the first time, the actor once told Filmfare magazine, “If you’d ask me did Virat come to my house? Yes. Is he my friend? Yes. Do I know him? Yes. But there are other details people don’t know. We did an ad together. I put on an arrogant front because he’s believed to be arrogant too.” “Before he acted tough, I wanted to have an upper hand. But when I met him, he was so easygoing, intelligent and funny. Considering it was a three-day shoot and on the second night I had called my friends over for dinner to celebrate my new house, I invited him too. That’s where it started. There were other people too but they didn’t make headlines,” she also said. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli completed 5 years of married life on Sunday. They continue to be the most loved pair for millions of fans. Anushka is all set to mark her comeback in films after four years now. She is filming for her upcoming film, Chakda Xpress. Directed by Prosit Roy, Chakda Xpress is a sports biopic film based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. It marks Anushka’s first full-length film after becoming a mother in 2021. She has been travelling with daughter Vamika, during most of her film shoots. Chakda Xpress will release exclusively on Netflix. It marks Anushka’s first foray into the streaming world.
