ADELAIDE: A meeting was held by the Pakistan cricket team management who attempted to lift the Green Shirts’ spirits on Tuesday. The team was just coming out of losses in both the Test and ODI series to Australia. Mickey Arthur while talking said that the team needed to focus on the fielding and dropped catches,noting that they were principal factors in their losing the last match. The fielding coach Steve Rixon and bowling CoachAzharMahmood was also present there and they also had a talk. Heslammed Pakistan’s fielding in the fourth ODI, suggesting that Australia “were 50 runs better” in the field. He labelled the mishaps as “woeful” and “unacceptable”. Pakistan dropped four catches during the match, leading Australia to pile up a gigantic total of 353-6. Notably all four ofAustralia’s highest scorers were given a lifeline during their innings. The last result has given Australiaan insurmountable 3-1 lead in the five-match ODI series.
