MANCHESTER: Brazilian full-back Dani Alves is closing in on a move to Paris Saint Germain (PSG) after a profuse offer from the former French champions. The 34-year-old, who was convinced on joining English giants Manchester City (MCFC), has made a surprising U-turn, which has left everyone including MCFC coach Pep Guardiola in state of shock. The former Barcelona star had met Guardiola earlier this week, making his intentions clear about a move to Manchester, but an offer from PSG is supposed to hijack the move, which has left MCFC boss furious according to the sources. The decision to pick PSG over European rivals came after Dani Alves wed Spanish model Joana Sanz in Ibiza last weekend. The Manchester club is facing quite a task as they look for replacements of full-backs Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, both of whom have left the club subsequent to previous season. The club has now turned their eyes towards Tottenham Hotspurs defence Kyle Walker, and is negotiating £50m asking price from the London club. Club central defender Eliaquim Mangala is also expected to leave the blues, as the club looks to re-establish their defence this season.
