KARACHI: More than 100 officers of the Sindh Education Department have been issued show-cause notices over graft charges. The notices were issued on the directives of Sindh Education Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar. Those served notices include district education officers, principals, headmasters and other administrators. The officers are said to be involved in corruption of billions of rupees. According to a statement, action was also being taken against those officials, who had retired from the service, and were allegedly involved in funds embezzlement during their tenures.
