KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) leader Arif Alvi on Saturday termed the detention of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar as ‘drama’. Arif Alvi said that government is not serious in any matter.Earlier, on Friday night, the MQM Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar was released by police after brief detention. Police had arrested Farooq Sattar from Shahrae Faisal when he was returning home after attending a wedding ceremony. Farooq Sattar was taken into custody in a case over hate speech and incidents of violence in Karachi on August 22 last year. Police sources said that Farooq Sattar has been declared an absconder in 15 cases. Police had shifted Farooq Sattar to Chakiwara Police Station. MQM Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar was released on the directives of Sindh government, a source said.
