KARACHI: Four people were shot and injured by robbers on resistance in separate robbery incidents in the metropolis in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to rescue sources, two armed robbers riding a motorbike tried to loot a 30-year-old man, Imran, in Safoora Goth, but he offered them resistance on which the robbers shot and injured him. He was rushed to Liaquat National Hospital for treatment. Separately, a 30-year-old man, SulLeman, son of Zahoor, was injured when he offered resistance to bandits during a robbery incident near his house in Orangi town. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a gang of three robbers tried to loot a 30-year-old man, Imran Ali, and a 28-year-old Irfan Ali, in Musharraf Colony, but they offered resistance to the bandits on which they shot and injured them.
