KARACHI: A child named Abdullah was found at sea view on Monday night and brought to Edhi Centre by a man named Faizan, a news channel reported. The workers at the orphanage said that he had stopped laughing. It had been over a day since he had seen his mother whom he missed terribly. Other than that he did not talk much, they said. The background checks done by Edhi center revealed that his mother’s name is Haleema. Bilquis Edhi who runs the orphanage said that no one had contacted her for a missing child. “I appeal to his mother to contact us. Their mother must be in trouble and may not be able to come to us personally, but please give us a phone call. Your child misses you terribly,” she said. Earlier, a man named Omar showed up at the Edhi Center and claimed to be Abdullah’s uncle. But the orphanage administration refused to hand over the child to him and asked for the actual parents to show up to pick the child.
