LAHORE: The Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) will have their annual meeting on Wednesday to discuss a range of issues including smuggling and joint patrolling on the border. According to details, the Indian Border Security Force delegation is currently in Islamabad and had held a meeting with the Indian ambassador to discuss a range of issues. The Indian delegation will leave for Lahore today and arrive at the Rangers headquarters in Lahore, where the annual meeting will be conducted. During the meeting, the issues of those who cross borders by mistake and prisoners who have fulfilled their terms will also most likely come under discussion. Pakistan Rangers will be led by DG Rangers Major General Umar Farooq Burki while the Indian Border Security Force will be led by DG BSF Krishan Kumar Sharma. The Indian delegation will leave for their country on July 28.
