KARACHI: At least 102 more dengue fever cases have been reported in Karachi – taking the toll to 1,510 in the city since January 1. According to report issued by Sindh Prevention and Control Programme for Dengue as many as 140 new dengue cases surfaced in the province from October 14 to 20 – out of which 102 were reported in Karachi, 37 in Mithi, 14 each from Hyderabad. In 2016 a total 1,713 dengue cases had been reported in Sindh. Three deaths have been reported from dengue fever in the province so far two while a death reportedly caused by dengue fever in the city was not confirmed by health officials.
