ISLAMABAD: Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan and US could work jointly to achieve common objectives. In an interview, he said that Pakistan has rendered great sacrifices in fight against terrorism, which has been acknowledged by the international community. Sartaj said that fighting terrorism is also a common ground between Pakistan and US. He said peace in Afghanistan is also common agenda of both Islamabad and Washington. He said that US President-elect Donald Trump had expressed the desire to mediate between Pakistan and India and we will certainly welcome this. The advisor said that Trump wants to revamp US economy, which will also create opportunities for the whole world, including Pakistan.
