Being a mother to two children under five can be a struggle, and even the Duchess of Cambridge agrees. Speaking at the launch ‘Out of the Blue’ – a video series aimed at providing invaluable help to expectant parents and parents with infants or toddlers with mental health issues – Kate Middleton spoke about her own experiences of motherhood. The Duchess, who is a mother to 3-year-old Prince George and one-year-old Princess Charlotte, said: “Personally, becoming a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience. “However, at times it has also been a huge challenge – even for me who has support at home that most mothers do not.” Kate was referring to her nanny, Spanish-born nanny Maria Teresa TurrionBorrallo, who trained at the prestigious Norland College. “Nothing can really prepare you for the sheer overwhelming experience of what it means to become a mother,” she continued.
