‘Twilight’ prop auction, Bella Swan’s engagement ring pulled in $16,800 The engagement ring worn by actor Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movie franchise has been snapped up for an impressive $16,800 (Rs 11.5 lakh). A two-day auction of memorabilia from the “Twilight” film franchise wrapped up on Sunday, hauling in a total of $757,890 on 874 lots. More than 900 pieces of memorabilia went under the hammer in the Prop Store sale, and the engagement ring Swan received from Edward Cullen, played by Kristen’s real-life ex Robert Pattinson, was one of the weekend’s hottest items. Among the top-performing items: Bella Swan’s engagement ring, which sold for a whopping $16,800. Other popular props include Edward’s journal, which sold for $7,800 (Rs 5.3 lakh), and a meadow costume Kristen wore onscreen, which went for $8,400 (Rs 5.7 lakh). “The films have a global following, which was very evident with the worldwide response from bidders over the weekend. For Twilight fans, this auction offered an amazing opportunity to own a piece of the phenomenon and we were proud to partner with Lionsgate (production studio) on the project.”
