Sir: Business class has been my preference for comfortable travelling since long. But unfortunately, while travelling to Rawalpindi from Lahore, I couldn’t find any seat for business class. In a rush, I scrambled to get an economy ticket. To my extreme surprise, it was a total mess. The cabin had more passengers than its capacity with some sitting on the floor while the rest were standing. I had bought that ticket for Rs 365, but later the ticket inspector told me that it wasn’t stamped and forced me to stand by the door despite paying the ticket price. The worst part was that it wasn’t only me as there were around 30 more people with tickets without a stamp. The ones sitting on the floor and standing between the seats were all like me, unaware of the trap. They shouldn’t sell more tickets than the seats. Just for the sake of making money, they betrayed innocent passengers by giving tickets not even stamped. I would like to request the concerned authorities to take notice of this deception.
