Sir: To analyse the causes of gender inequality, we need to know what we mean by gender inequality refers to treating and dealing woman and man not equality. One class has been provided top value; on the other hand, one has been given zero value. In this way, a dozen of famous scholars have said that in this 21th century, the difference between the two genders should be eliminated. But sorry to say to this day, gender inequality is highly practiced. There is no denying the fact, after the world war 1, the top intellectuals held a meeting to know the reason of wars, finally, it was investigated that if people are not given their rights, due respect, education and etc, then wars and disharmony takes place. It is the time to say that the violation of or female rights has been done in many parts of the world. in India, daughters are perceived as burned, in Pakistan, female are treated like animals especially in the province of Sindh, to make the long story short, there is not a single century in which gender, the female and male are treated equally. Furthermore, equality of genders is the belief that everyone should receive equal treatment and not be discriminated against based on their gender. Gender equality is gained or achieved when men and women enjoy the equal rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and decision making, and when the different behaviors, and needs of women and men are equally valued and favored. However, women can do everything that men can and they even do it better. They also can do many things that men cannot. But the fact is that their work is not appreciated as much as men’s, although they have to sacrifice a lot for their family and career. It is said: ‘a woman’s place is in the home.’ Moreover, equality in education is an important issue. As gender equality guidelines improve education for both men and women. The purpose to provide better education for women does not mean neglecting or ignoring men. By placing man and woman on an equal level, the relatively increased valuing of women will also benefit men by informing them of the strengths, capabilities and contribution of most, it may also decrease the pressure many boys feel to conform to the traditional roles, behaviors and ways of thinking. Education is the right key to be open minded and create or bring equality between genders. In conclusion, gender equality is a human right; women are entitled to live with dignity and with freedom from want and fear. It is also a source for advancing development and reducing poverty. Empower women contribute to the health and productively of whole families and communities, and they improve prospects for the next generation.
