Sir: I would like to draw your attention towards the dismal state of education. Nowadays, our education system has become a business. Despite the fact that a large majority is striving to send their children to expensive schools, they are still unable to deliver them the true essence of knowledge. Such high emphasis on cramming is largely due to incorrect selection of the teachers. The administration of the schools appoints less educated teachers so that they do not demand higher wages. If highly qualified teachers are appointed, this culture of cramming can be eliminated. We don’t just need to change just the teachers but also need to change their way of teaching. I humbly request the school’s administration to not play with the country’s future and appoint qualified staff instead. Farah Iqbal Sindh
