PESHAWAR: The Provincial Education Minister Muhammad Atif Khan has stressed upon the schools teachers to decline all resorts for cheating in the examinations halls so that intelligent students could achieve fruit of their hard work. He was on a surprise visit to an examination hall at district Mardan, the examination of class 9th and 10th has commenced this month in the strike observation of CCTV cameras in the examination halls and centers of the province. Mardan Education Board Chairman Professor Shaukat Hayat and education department officials accompanied education minister at his visit. Atif Khan said that government has discouraged all those elements that could give promotion to cheating and the teachers community of the province should stop ways leading to cheating and nepotism in the board examinations. He said that teachers should not accept any social and political pressure and ensure transparency in the examination halls and promote the culture of hard work among the students. Education Minister took serious notice of in-availability of cameras in some examinations halls at the district and issue directives for immediate presence of the cameras installations. Muhammad Atif Khan visited Ansi School, the Quaid Azam School and Mardan Model School examination Halls at the district. Government has allocated unprecedented funds for education sector with aim to bring transparency and make the education standard of the province par with the modern world and would never tolerate single attempt that hints towards the culture of cheating, he added.
