ISLAMABAD: The police claimed to have arrested 13 outlaws from various areas of the city, including two bike lifters, and recovered three bikes, fake currency, narcotics and weapons from their possession. According to details, Kohsar police arrested Nur Masih and recovered 15 litres of liquor from him. Bhara Kahu police arrested Mehmud for carrying 250 grammes of hashish, while Bani Gala police apprehended Hassan with a 30-bore pistol. Margalla police recovered a bottle of wine from Saqib during patrolling, while police also arrested Ashraf for carrying 120 grammes of heroin. Sihala police arrested Ibrar and Rawish for selling petroleum products illegally, while police arrested Hamza for having fake currency notes of Rs 1,000 denomination. Karachi Company police arrested pickpocket Sharafat Ali and recovered Rs 55,000 from him. Sub-Inspector Muneer Ahmed from Nilore police arrested Rashid and Saqlain Abbas, besides recovering three stolen bikes from them. Published in Daily Times, August 3nd 2017.
