KARACHI: Conceding that all is not well, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said that some of the economic indicators show negative signs, including current account deficit, due to export decline, but the overall economic indicators are positive. Taking to journalists at the Inauguration of special premier lounge for business class passengers at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi along with Gary Chapman, president of DNATA International Airport, the governor said that during current fiscal year exports are expected to rise by around a billion dollar but substantial inflow of Foreign Direct Investment will be witnessed in the backdrop of ongoing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. Replying to a question, the governor said that decision making process should be more prompt but due to the high profile case the process has been slowed down as the focus has derails in such cases. This special lounge is part of Marhaba Lounge network that is a subsidiary of Emirates group. A statement issued said that Marhaba Lounge in Karachi will be operated by Gerry’s DNATA. The lounge will serve business class passengers of Emirates Airline. Vice President for Gerrys DNATA Pakistan, Syed Haris Raza said that this is first of its kind facility in Pakistan.
