KHAIRPUR: The 17th Death Anniversary of legend poet and scholar, Dr Tanveer Abbasi was organised by the Dr Tanveer Abbasi Institute of Creative Literature and Faculty of Arts & Languages, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof Dr Noor Ahmed Shaikh, Acting Vice Chancellor presided over the event.
Prof. Shaikh said that Dr Tanveer Abbasi was not a person but an institution. He loved humanity, motherland and was well educated about Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA). His poetry is based on the sorrows and happiness of the people. His work and life is model for new generation.
