Wear crop tops
We may have not paid much attention but crop tops are actually made for high waist pants. Its short length balances out the excess length of the high waist pants giving you a plus point by looking taller than your actual height. Whether it’s a lace crop top, chiffon or a studded one, just be certain to pair it with the right set of high waist pants.
Tuck in long shirts
Sad but true, not all of us own a knockout pair of crop top to show off. However, good news is that long lumberjack shirt and long sleeves top of yours will actually work. Go ahead and firmly tuck them in those high waist pants and raise your arms high to pull out the right amount of fabric that gives you the perfect blouson at the waist.
Wear pants at natural waist
As important as it is to wear the right wide legged high waist pants, it is also important to wear it at the right angle. The narrowest part of the torso is the natural waistline right above the abdomen. For the perfect fitting, refrain from wearing it too high above the natural waist line or too low below the natural waist line.
Let them flow
During the summer heat, it’s always nice to wear flared flowing bottoms. Allows your legs to breathe and of course it’s much cozy and easy to wear. You can grab those printed loose cotton pajamas to top up with a plain blouse or some good quality high waist denim pants to go with a funky T-shirt.
Simplicity is elegance
High waist pant is a fashion statement in itself, it already has enough length, volume and the right amount of coverage to make you stand out in a crowd. Again, do not overdue it with some wild print or excessive embellishment. Keep it simple.
