Usman Ibrahim takes oath as federal minister

ISLAMABAD: Barrister Usman Ibrahim took oath as Federal Minister on Thursday. President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath of office to him at a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr.The ceremony was attended, among others, by high officials and political workers. It may be recalled that on April 27, government expanded its cabinet by appointing five new federal ministers and a state minister. The notification stated that Marvi Memon, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Anusha Rehman, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary as federal ministers and Leila Khan as a state minister. Hours before budget announcement, Miftah takes oath as finance minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Anusha Rehman and Tariq Fazal Chaudhary took oath as the federal ministers. Leila Khan took oath as the Minister of State.
