
In the times when Indian Film Association has banned Pakistani artists from working in Bollywood, renowned singer Atif Aslam is going to sing a romantic song in Salman Khan’s upcoming action-thriller, ‘Race 3’.
According to Mumbai Mirror, it is announced that Atif, who has been a Race usual with hit songs like ‘Pehli Nazar Mein‘ for Race (2008) and ‘Allah Duhai Hai ‘and ‘Beintehaa‘ for Race2 (2013) will sing an exclusive song written by Salman Khan, choreographed by director Remo D’souza.
The producer, Ramesh Taurani stated, “Atif has been a part of every Race film and we felt he would be perfect for this romantic song. It will be a surprise for the audience”
The stars in ‘Race 3’ are Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. The film is scheduled to release this Eid, on 15 June.
Earlier this month Atif Aslam refused to promote his song ‘Sehmi Hai Dhadkan’ in ‘Daas Dev,’ after an Indian official, Babul Supriyo demanded for a ban on Pakistani artists working in the Indian film industry. Composer and Music director, Vipin Mehta supported Atif Aslam’s choice to not promote his song in the Bollywood movie, ‘Daas Dev’.
